About RDLD
A bit about ducks.
“Because of its connection to water, it is linked to the feminine energies, the astral plane, and to the emotional state of humans. Water is necessary for all life on earth. Nothing can live without it. Ducks can remind us to drink of the waters of life as well as to nurture our own emotional natures. … All ducks have a grace upon water, and as a totem they can help you to handle your own emotions with greater grace and comfort. They serve to teach you how to maneuver through various waters of life.” *
A bit about me.
I was born and raised in a small Montana town. Ronan. On the ranch, I was a cowgirl. Gazing up at the Mission Mountains, the place I spent most of my childhood, nestled in the Flathead Indian Reservation in the Mission Valley. Now, nearly a grown up, I’m learning that to “maneuver through various waters of life” is a continual process and for damn sure, not at all easy. Through yoga, I have found a new way to maneuver, a new way to breathe and it’s now taking me on a whole new adventure.

Help Along the Way
There are many people who have given their love and support along the way; I thank you all from the bottom of my heart.
I have been blessed with the opportunity to practice with some wonderfully beautiful people at the Spokane Yoga Shala. The friends I have made there will be in my heart for a very long time to come. Katie, Shelley, Mike, Charisse – thank you for your teaching and support.
My friends.
Above are a few of the lovely ladies I practice with, cry with, sing with, celebrate with. Such beautiful women, you inspire me every day. To all of those that are not pictured above, you know who you are and my life would not be the same without you.
My teacher.
David Garrigues, I have learned much from you and I continue to do so every time I step on my mat. My gratitude is immeasurable.
